Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your browser on subsequent visits, remember your preferences, and understand how you interact with the site.
Cookies are widely used across the web and serve a number of purposes — from enabling basic site functionality to helping site owners understand visitor behaviour. Some cookies are set directly by the website you visit ("first-party cookies"); others are set by third-party services embedded within the site.
2. The Cookies We Use
We use four categories of cookies on the Meridium website:
2.1 Essential Cookies (Always Active)
These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They enable core features such as page navigation and security. The site cannot operate properly without them, and they cannot be disabled.
Examples: session management, security tokens, cookie consent storage.
2.2 Analytics Cookies (Optional)
These cookies help us understand how visitors use our website — which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and where they come from. This information helps us improve the site experience. All data is collected in aggregate and is not used to identify individual visitors.
Examples: Google Analytics page view tracking, bounce rate data.
2.3 Marketing Cookies (Optional)
These cookies support advertising and remarketing activities. They may be used to show relevant advertisements on other platforms after visiting our site. We do not currently run active advertising campaigns but include this category for completeness.
Examples: advertising platform pixels, conversion tracking.
2.4 Preference Cookies (Optional)
These cookies remember your settings and preferences — such as language or region — to provide a more personalised experience on future visits.
Examples: language preference, display settings.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Third-party services that may set cookies on our site include:
- Google Analytics — for website usage analytics
- Google Ads — for conversion tracking (where applicable)
- Meta (Facebook) — for pixel tracking (where applicable)
Each of these services has its own privacy and cookie policies which govern their use of data. We encourage you to review them directly.
4. Cookie Duration
- Session cookies — Deleted automatically when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies — Remain on your device for a set period. Most analytics cookies expire after 12–26 months. Your cookie consent preference is stored for up to 12 months.
5. Your Cookie Preferences
